The stunning view from the balcony of Chalet Grande Tourne. In the distance you can see the resort of Tignes Val Claret and the mountains and Grande Motte Glacier behind, rising up to an altitude of 3656 metres.
Double room with large windows with Eastern aspect and southern aspect giving spectacular views of the mountains. This room can have a single bed added to make it a twin or a triple.
Ensuite shower room with shower and washbasin, separate toilet shared with bedroom 2.

The large open plan lounge and dining room, with south-facing floor to ceiling windows, leads onto a large balcony with stunning panoramic mountain views. The lounge has a roaring log fire and 3 sofas.
The chalet is equipped with TV, DVD player, Playstation 2, iPod dock and a stereo system. There is selection of movies, PS2 games, music, books and board games.
On the ground floor is a locker for the secure storage of your skis and snowboards. There is warm and dry storage within the chalet for your ski and snowboard boots.

Location within Tignes
Chalet Grande Tourne is situated in Tignes Le Lac at an altitude of 2100 metres. The chalet has a superb location at the foot of a blue slope (Gentiane) and just 20 metres from a short ski lift (Chardonnet) which takes you to a choice of blue slopes, linking with either Tignes Le Lac or, via the Merles chailift, Tignes Val Claret. It has always been possible to ski from the chalet and back to the chalet all winter.
Chalet Grande Tourne is only 100 metres from the buzzing centre of Tignes Le Lac, with it’s many shops, supermarkets, ski schools, cinema, restaurants, cafes and leisure centre (Le Lagon).
Directions to Chalet Grande Tourne
On entering Tignes Le Lac you will reach a roundabout; take the first right here through a tunnel. Follow the road past a number of shops. When the road splits, keep right. The chalet is 50 metres ahead on the right hand side. Here you can drop off your luggage at the Chalet before parking your car.
