Ski & Snowboard Hire

Chalet Alistelle guests will be taken to our recommended ski shop to be kitted out with skis or snowboards on the afternoon of your arrival. Jamie will then be on hand in the chalet to give you advice on all aspects of your equipment. He is an experienced ski and snowboard technician -- if you have your own skis or board he can service these for you.

Chalet Le Loup guests are 50 metres from the recommended ski shop and we will be more than happy to give advice on your hire equipment.

We recommend that you order your equipment in advance to guarantee availability and to benefit from lower prices than you will find in resort. The earlier you reserve, the less you will pay. As a guide, depending on how far in advance the reservation is made and on the quality of equipment, prices for 6 days hire range as follows:

Adult skis & boots : 56 to 192 euros
Child skis & boots : 42 to 86 euros
Adult snowboard & boots : 70 to 143 euros
Child snowboard & boots : 51 to 104 euros

Please visit Sport 2000. Please note: Remember to reserve your equipment from the Sport 2000 shop located in the Tignes village you are staying in. For Chalet Alistelle & Chalet Le Loup guests this is Tignes Les Brévières, and for Chalet Bollin guests this is Tignes Val Claret.

Lift passes and piste maps
For Chalet Alistelle guests, these will be delivered to you at breakfast on your first morning enabling you to get straight on the slopes.

To allow us to have your lift passes in time for breakfast, we request that you arrive with a passport photo and sufficient currency for payment.

Chalet Le Loup is just 50 metres from the lift pass office so Chalet Le Loup guests can purchase lift passes on the evening of their arrival or first thing in the morning.

Chalet Bollin is just 150 metres from the lift pass office so guests can purchase lift passes on the evening of their arrival or first thing in the morning.

Beginners & Lessons
We appreciate that beginners may find the first days on the mountain a little bewildering; don't worry we've all been there. We will do all we can to smooth your journey into skiing or snowboarding. The best way to become a confident skier or snowboarder is to have tuition from a qualified instructor. We recommend that guests wishing to have lessons book in advance with the ESF. Once you've grasped the basics, we will direct you to the best confidence-building slopes for practicing and improving your new found skills. Click here for Ski School link
