We recognise that by giving you the freedom to customise your travel arrangements you will benefit from the value and flexibilty on offer and so we do not include travel to Tignes in our chalet holidays. Please see below for travel information and links to help you make arrangements that suit you best.

Air Travel

The following airports are within reach of Tignes. The approximate transfer times to Tignes are as follows:

  • Chambery – 1hr 40 mins
  • Geneva – 2hrs 20 mins
  • Lyon – 2hrs 45 mins
  • Grenoble – 2hrs 45 mins

Rail travel

Bourg St Maurice Station is 35 minutes drive from Tignes.

The bus between Tignes and Bourg St Maurice train station is 15,00 euros return. Book online with AltiBus

Airport Transfers

To travel from the airport to Tignes, you can book a private transfer, take the bus or hire a car. The most reasonable method of travel will depend on the number of people in your group. We recommend you compare the options and make reservations well in advance.
