Espace Killy Ski Passes

For winter 2018/19, all ski passes cover the whole 300km of the Espace Killy ski area (Tignes and Val D’Isere). The Espace Killy is so well linked and the ski lifts are so efficient that it is possible to ski to Val D’Isere and back from Tignes in a morning.

How many days ski pass should I book?

For a normal weekly holiday most of our guests book a 6 day ski pass.

When should I select my ski pass to start?

– Normally, for a Saturday arrival day, you will want your ski pass to start on the Sunday and finish at the close of lifts on the following Friday (a 6 day ski pass).

– If you wish to ski on one or both of the Saturdays of your arrival or departure: Book a 7 or 8 day ski pass. If you wish to ski on your arrival Saturday please then contact us to arrange to meet us to give you your ski pass.

– New for winter 2018/19 is a Flex Ski pass which enables you to ski for 6 non consecutive days within an 8 day period.

– If you wish to ski for half a day on either or both Saturdays of your arrival or departure: Order your 6 day ski pass through us and then you will need to arrange the extra half day pass locally from a ski pass office.

Family Ski Passes

Special rates are available for a family of at least 4 people. Identification (your passports) is necessary to prove you are a family. To qualify, all members of the family must order the same number of days.

If you buy a ‘family ski pass’ it works out equivalent to all members of the family (of at least 4 people, 2 adults, 2 children/teens) paying the child’s rate.

For the purposes of family ski passes:

Teen: 14 to 17 yrs inclusive & 18 to 21 yrs if still a student (photo documentation (student card) required)

Child: 5 to 13 yrs inclusive

As an example, if you are a family of 2 adults, an 18 yr student and a 12 yr old, you should order the “2 adult, 2 children/teen” ski pass in our order form above.

There are five free ski lifts on the beginner slopes in Tignes. We would therefore advise beginners not to order a ski pass until you have spoken to your instructor. They may advise that you will not require a ski pass until later in your holiday.

Under 5’s and Over 74’s

Ski passes in Tignes are free to children aged 0-4 yrs and free to seniors over 74 yrs. These need to be arranged locally as the person receiving the ski pass needs to be present at the point of purchase, with their passport.

Ski Pass Prices

All our ski pass prices are in British Pounds (£).  We set our ski pass prices to be the same as our supplier’s public resort rate allowing for slight fluctuations in exchange rate, our foreign exchange transfer fees and our small administrative costs. If the exchange rate changes significantly then we may revise these prices, however, once you have ordered and paid for your ski passes, the price at which you ordered will not change – we will not charge you any more.

Our ski pass pre-ordering and delivery is a service designed to make your holiday smoother and more relaxing.

For ski passes less than 8 days in duration, a passport size photo is not required. For family ski passes passports are required in resort as proof of identity and age.

Once we have processed your order we are able to accept payment by bank transfer or debit card on 07971 205724.

Having ordered ski passes through us, if you need to cancel your ski pass order, please let us know as soon as you can. If we are able to recover the costs from the ski pass office then we will happily refund you the cost of your ski pass, less any difference as a result of exchange rate changes and the cost of money transfers.

If the STGM (ski lift operating company) deem it necessary to close the entire lift system then we will forward on a letter of confirmation from the STGM to you to enable you to make a claim on your winter sports insurance for lost skiing days. White Horizon Chalets Ltd are unable to provide refunds if the lift system is closed for any reason.
