Check in & check out times

Our check in check out times are important as they allow us to prepare the chalet in time for your arrival.

  • Check in on the day of your arrival is from 16:00 in the afternoon.
  • Check out on the day of your departure is by 10:00 in the morning.

For guests arriving outside of these times, wherever possible we will be flexible with the use of changing and luggage storage facilities to enable you to enjoy more time on the slopes. This service is provided on the condition that guests are considerate towards guests still in residence, or those due to arrive later that day as well as towards chalet hosts who will be busy preparing the chalet for the new week.

Procedure for late arrivals

During the week, your evening meal is normally served at 19:30, however on a Saturday we are able to offer an evening meal later than this. For late arrivals, evening meal is scaled down as per the below schedule. The times are a guide to manage expectations and are the minimum we will be able to offer and in exceptional circumstances we may be able to improve on this.

  • Until 20:30 – normal dinner service
  • After 20:30, before 21:15 – scaled down evening meal (main course & dessert)
  • After 21:15, before 23:00 – plated up, self service scaled down evening meal (main course & dessert)
  • After 23:00 – self service supper of soup, bread, cheese and wine

For late arrivals you will be provided with details instructions for access, or, depending on logistics, you may be checked in by a manager rather than your chalet hosts.

Note: We are sorry but we cannot replace evening meal service on a Saturday arrival day with an evening meal on chalet host night off which is a Tuesday.

Bedroom Supplements & Reductions

Our website holiday prices are the standard per person prices. As chalet bedrooms differ in size, level of comfort, bath/shower room, balcony and the views from the windows, for non-sole use bookings, we are able to offer premium bedrooms for a supplement, standard bedrooms at the advertised price and a reduction for the smaller bedrooms. We will provide relevant prices when quoting.

Exclusive (Sole) Use Bedroom Supplements & Reductions

When a group books exclusive use of one of our chalets, the advertised / offered ‘exclusive use’ price is the average of the total price of all the bedrooms, with one free place included. This reduces the average price per person. However, group leaders may wish to divide the costs between their group to reflect the bedroom each member of their group is staying in. Photographs and a description of every bedroom can be seen on each chalet page of our website. Please do ask us for any more information or recommendations.

Group Discounts

A discount in the form of free places for party leaders or to share between all members of the group is available for groups booking the whole of any of our chalets. This discount applies for group bookings when the group leader pays a deposit in a single transaction.

Chalet Arabette, Chalet Ibex & Chalet Le Vallon Group Discounts

All 3 chalets are normally available only for whole chalet bookings but certain weeks we offer rooms at the chalet to smaller groups. As a guide, we offer exclusive occupancy of Chalet Arabette, Chalet Ibex and Chalet Le Vallon for 12 guests for the price of 11 (one free place). Both chalets are very flexible in terms of the types of groups they can accommodate as most bedrooms can be made up as king size beds or as 2 single beds. For smaller groups wanting to book the whole chalet to themselves we also offer sole use for 11 guests for 10.75 or up to 10 guests for 10.5.

Catering for Children

Children’s meals and meal times can be arranged. This service is normally available in all chalets, and is subject to sufficient demand. If this is something that you are interested in please request this when you make your reservation. Please note, children must be in the company of a parent or guardian in the chalet at all times and meal times.

Infants & Children

With advance notice, we can provide, free of charge, cots (with cot sheet, please bring your own choice of cot duvet/blanket) and high chairs.
